Services — Institutional

The foundations, endowments and other institutional clients we work with tell us that two of the qualities they value most about us are our total objectivity and our broad reach.

That objectivity is supported by our fee-only business model. Today, many advisory firms say they are fee-only, but there are few that completely pass this test. Oxford, however, has no proprietary products and no revenue-sharing arrangements with banks, investment managers, broker-dealers or administrative service providers.

Our broad reach comes partly from our size, and partly from the long-term relationships we’ve established with top-tier money managers in traditional markets, as well as from alternative investment strategies such as hedge funds, private equity, real estate and natural resources.

Investment Services

Our first step at Oxford is to work with you to develop a clear understanding of your institution’s financial objectives and constraints. We then combine those with our detailed analysis of financial markets. This all comes together in your Investment Policy Statement (IPS), which establishes an asset allocation policy, investment guidelines and criteria for making changes, and measuring, monitoring and evaluating your results. It’s a rigorous portfolio construction process, based on insightful analysis, with the goal of offering you the highest probability of achieving your institution’s objectives.

The Trust Company of Oxford™

Oxford established The Trust Company of Oxford to serve as an independent third party that acts in a fiduciary role for our clients—as a custodian of certain assets, as a trustee or a co-trustee of a trust. Although The Trust Company of Oxford is a separate legal entity, its subsidiary relationship with Oxford enables us to align the services offered by the two organizations, providing a single point of contact for our institutional clients and simplifying the management of their financial interests.

Alternative Investments

For qualified investors with long-term financial goals, investments in “alternative” areas such as private equity partnerships, private real estate partnerships, hedge funds and natural resources offer benefits that include the potential for higher long-term performance, diversification and an enhanced ability to manage risk and return.

Oxford’s Savile Row® offers pooled investment vehicles that give qualified individual investors access to a diversified mix of top-tier alternative investment managers. And through our Mayfair investment program, we offer clients occasional opportunities to make direct equity investments in privately held companies.

Consulting Services

Are you looking for a second opinion on your financial investment strategy? Oxford offers consulting services for individuals and institutions wishing to evaluate their current financial results when compared to their objectives. To learn more, please give us a call or drop us a note. We’ll be happy to visit your offices and tell you more about who we are and how we work. We cordially invite you to do the same, to help us learn more about you and your financial needs.

Fees

Oxford is truly a fee-only wealth advisor—we only charge a fee for the services we provide, with no hidden costs or expenses. We provide complete objectivity, because we have no affiliations or financial arrangements with third parties that might distort our objectivity or present conflicts of interest, nor do we sell mutual funds, insurance or other products.

Because we do not receive compensation from other sources, our sole commitment is to serve your best interests at a fair price. In other words, we sit on the same side of the table as our clients.
